Privacy Policy

Plant Bar is a small business with cafés in Asheville and Chattanooga. This page explains what we collect when you visit visitplantbar.com, sign up for our newsletter, contact us, or join us for an event, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@visitplantbar.com and a real person will answer.

What we collect

Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or submit our contact form.
Name and message when you send a note through the contact form or write to us directly.
Event details if you RSVP, register, or buy a ticket for one of our workshops.
Basic usage data such as pages visited, device type, and referring site, collected through standard analytics so we know which parts of the site are useful.

We do not sell your information, and we do not collect anything we do not need to run the shop.

How we use it

To send the newsletter you signed up for.
To reply to messages, event questions, and private-event inquiries.
To improve the website based on what people actually read and click.
To follow up about an event you registered for, including any changes to the schedule.

Who we share it with

We work with a few trusted services to keep the lights on. They only see what they need to do their job:

Klaviyo stores our newsletter list and sends our emails.
Google (Analytics and Search Console) helps us see how people find the site.
Our hosting provider serves the website you are reading right now.

We do not give your information to advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies for things like remembering you between page loads and measuring traffic in aggregate. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them will not break the site.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link at the bottom of any email.
Ask us what we have on file for you, correct it, or have it deleted.
Opt out of analytics by using your browser's Do Not Track setting or a privacy extension.

Children

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, let us know and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and move the effective date at the top. For meaningful changes, we will also mention it in the newsletter.
