Connected Canine
Join us for a gentle, nervous-system–focused experience designed to help your dog settle by first settling yourself. We’ll practice simple breathing and body-based techniques to regulate your own nervous system, then explore how to offer calm, invited touch that can support relaxation in our dogs.
Who this is for
This event is best suited for dogs who can be in public spaces without becoming overstimulated or escalating into fight-or-flight behaviors.
We’ll be meeting at Plant Bar in Chattanooga, a cozy and relaxed café space. While the environment is generally calm, there will be other patrons in both the café and the adjoining store. If your dog is reactive to people or other dogs, this would not be the best event to start with.
To keep the experience quiet, intentional, and supportive, this event is limited to four dogs, allowing for individualized attention and a truly relaxed atmosphere. Auditing spots are free (human, no dog).
